Words can hurt just as much as actions and anger can really turn into something that you would not expect to happen.

Worth While

Graduation day finally came . The ceremony was short. I was looking forward to the speakers but in that one hour period I was a bit annoyed because I couldn't even hear half of the ceremony. We were in this room that fit about 60 people (it was a small graduating class) and one of the kid's in the audience had a serious temper tantrum. I know this kid's mom (she graduated with me) and from what was told, her little girl gets what ever she wants. Through out the whole program she constantly whined, " NO, I want my mommy!"  About half way through the ceremony, this little girl walks up and sits on her mom's lap. I just gave her a look, " Girl, you need a spanking." I ended up biting my lip cuz this girl still kept talking even when she got her way. SHEESH. Then she talks about how she wants a new dress, get a new toy, and wants to go to the pool. "Mommy take me, take me mommy." Of course her mom says,   " Ok hunnie...just be quiet, you'll get all that." The kid's mouth just kept going and going. That girl should have been put outside by one of her grandparents. At least that way, everyone could of enjoyed what the speakers were at least saying. It was just something so simple that could of been done. Why do some parents refuse to discipline there kid and then later wonder, "Why my kid is in deep donkey dung?"
Anyway, I'm just so glad that everyone graduated~!  I'm so thankful for my family and friends who stuck by me through this crazy ride. The laughs and encouragement sure helped me through my dark times. It's great to hang out with friends I haven't seen in a long time. Now, the next challenge is taking the board exam. Ugh...I don't want to think about that just yet. Once I've passed that, I know everything I've sacrificed will be worth while.

Last Day

Tomorrow will be officially my last day at my preceptor site in Woodbridge. Working at the clinic has been an experience I won't forget. I got to work with a great team, that was very helpful and taught me key points in working at a pediatric clinic.Since training there, one of the most frightening things I've experienced was giving shots to the18 month old babies. There are a total of 5 shots to be given. Yep, drawin' up the needles and giving the shots made me hold my breath and I could feel my heart racing a hundred miles a minute. I sure hope the parents didnt notice I was freakn nervouse. Immunizations aren't fun at all, especially for a 4 year old, who's screaming, kicking crying, and telling there mama, "No GO HOME!" Cuz they know what's coming, right when I walk in that room. But after all that's over,a big hug, stickers, and some ice cream cheers them up. I'm going to miss being around my kids and am looking forward to my next challenge.
